Happy Lantern Festival

Did you enjoy the sweet sticky-rice dumplings that we had in class for celebrating the Chinese Lantern Festival? Did you like the taste of these sticky and slimy dumplings? Which one out of the three was your favourite? The sesame, the taro, or the peanut one? My favourite one was the sesame one, yum!

Each one of you have also made your own lanterns in class with the Chinese paper-cutting (the word "春" means Spring in English). Great creativity!

Dear new Year 8s,

Welcome to Room 4's blog and happy new year! I hope you all have had a lovely school holidays and are ready for another challenging and fun-learning year with me.

We have started our year with some assessments, some writing tasks and the design phase of our Rich Task for this term.
