Dear all,

 

I have been in KCIS for the last few weeks, surrounded by many nice office workers and teaching staff. Things are very different here and I am still trying to adjust meself, both physically and mentally. I have also met some very interesting people from different places around the globe, such as America, South Africa and Australia. By the way, I am the only kiwi here.

2014 Book Week (Intermediate School)

Dear Room 4,

Wow, what a week! We have just came back from our wonderful camp and straight away there was the Book Week. I could see that each team (class) have put their 100% to prepare and dress up for this lovely event! Thank you all for those who worked so hard to get things ready! What was your favourite part? How many 'book' questions could you answer?

Last but not least, a huge THANK-YOU to our lovely librarians Bronwyn and Anita for their hard work organising the eventful Book Week.

RICH TASK EXPO..., plus garden update

Dear Room 4,

I hope you all had a great time showing and presenting your learning at the EXPO on Monday. Many of you have put a lot of effort into your work with your Rich Task group, promoting the school Care Codes. There were movies, animations. surveys, games, and quizzes. I have noticed that a lot of you bringing materials from home to decorate your 'showroom'. Well done!

UPDATE

We went to have a look at our garden after our Fitness session earlier this week. There were a lot of weeds, which covered the entire garden. A big thank-you to those of you who have tried very hard to pull the weeds out.
